IS 13122 : Part 1 : 1993 Transmitters for Use in Industrial-Process Control Systems - Specification - Part 1 : Methods for Evaluating the Performance

UDC 621.396.61 : 65.011.56 : 621 - 523 ETD 18
Reaffirmed 2021

1 Scope

1.1 This standard is applicable to transmitters which haveeither a standard electric current output signal as per IS 7728 :1984 or a standard pneumatic output signal is accordance with IS7722 : 1975, or a standard voltage output signal as per IS 8493 :1977.

1.2 The tests detailed herein may be applied to transmitterswhich have other output signals, provided that due allowance ismade for such difference.

1.3 Transmitters for the measurement of electrochemicalproperties, such as pH transmitters, are not covered by thisstandard.
