This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 5049-1 :1994`Mobile equipment for continuous handling of bulk materials - Part1 : Rules for the design of steel structures issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adoptedby the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theBulk Handling Systems and Equipment Sectional Committee andapproval of the Heavy Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
