IS 13157 : 1991 Textile Fibres - Commercial Moisture Regains - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 The standard specifies the commercial moisture regainscommonly used for a number of textile fibres. Such moisture regainvalues are intended primarily for determining the commercial massof a specific fibre when the fibre is bought or sold on this basis.These regain values are also used in calculating the linear densityof yarn in procedures employing such factors and in thequantitative analysis of fibre mixtures.
