1 Scope

This standard (Part 6) specifies guidelines for noise reductiononboard ships to comply with the recommended limits given in IS13161 : Part 3 : 1991 and IS 13161 : Part 4 : 1991 of thisstandard. These guidelines are intended for use during design andconstruction of ships.
