IS 13183 : 1991 Aluminium paint, heat resistant - Specification

1 Scope

This standard prescribes the requirements, methods of samplingand test for the heat resistant Aluminium Paint. This materialshall withstand solvents, normal, weather exposure and temperatureup to 600°C.

1.1 The material will be used as a finishing heat resistantpaint for chimneys, stacks, boiler, pipes and furnace structureswhere protection to moderate corrosive marine and industrialenvironment and heat resistance are required.
