1 Scope

1.1 This standard provides guidance on method for verifying theaccuracy of tan delta (dielectric loss angle or power factor)measurement bridge.

1.2 The accuracy of method verifying the tan delta measurementwill depend on the similarity of the temperature profiles and theaccuracy of instruments used to monitor the test under voltage upto thermal equilibrium.
