This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 2631-1 : 1997`Mechanical vibration and shock - Evaluation of human exposure towhole-body vibration - Part 1 : General requirements issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theMechanical Vibration and Shock Sectional Committee and approval ofMechanical Engineering Division Council.
