This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 1496-4 : 1991`Series 1 Freight Containers - Specification and testing - Part 4 :Non-pressurised containers for dry bulk issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adoptedby the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of theFreight Containers Sectional Committee (HMD 12) and approval of theHeavy Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
