IS 13293 : 1992 Gas detector tubes - General requirements and Methods of test

1 Scope

The standard specifies requirements for gas detector tubes andtheir associated aspirating pumps, used at normal atmosphericpressure and temperature for evaluating atmospheric hazards (notincluding oxygen deficiency) at concentrations in the region of thethreshold limit values. It covers length of stain tubes and colourmatch tubes. Appearance of colour tubes are excluded because oftheir limitations.
