IS 13296 : 1992 Aircraft - Performance requirements for lever operated manual switches (Class 3) - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the performance requirements for thesingle and triple hole mounting, lever operated manual switches(class 3) for use in nominal 28 V dc and 115/200 V three phase 400Hz ac systems in aircraft.

1.2 The switches are environmentally sealed and suitable forhigher altitude and temperature conditions than are class 2switches which are sealed only at the lever entry. They do not havethe positive action features of the class 1 and class 2 switches asspecified in IS 13309:1991 `Aircraft-Performance requirements oflever operated manual switches (class 1 and 2)- Specification'.
