IS 13310 : 1992 Dimensions of E-cores with rectangular cross-section made of magnetic oxides intended for general applications

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the important dimensions andeffective parameter of values of E-cores with rectangularcross-section made of magnetic oxides along with dimensions of coilformers to be used with them.

Note - The cores covered by this standard are intended forgeneral applications at both low and high, flux densities, but alsofind use in special application such as pulse transformers. Theyare generally used in pairs.

Whilst the main application of this standard is expected to befor magnetic oxide cores its validity for iron powder cores shouldnot be overlooked.
