1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the object, principle, apparatus andtest procedure of ultrasonic pulse velocity test method. Inaddition, influence of test conditions and some general guidance onthe interpretation of test results are also given.

Note - In view of the limitations of each method ofnon-destructive testing of concrete, it is essential that theresults of tests obtained by one method should be complimented byother tests and each method should be adopted very carefully.
