1 Scope

1.1 This code prescribes cultural practices for cultivation of aromatic plant, for production of oil of lemongrass botanically known as Cymbopogon flexuosus Stapf, fam. Gramineae.

1.2 The requirements and methods of sampling and tests for oil of lemongrass have been separately covered in IS 327 : 1991.
