NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 3/Sec 11) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 1183-2 : 2019 ‘Plastics - Methods for determining the density of non-cellular plastics - Part 2: Density gradient column method’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Plastics Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
This Standard was originally published in 2016 which was identical with ISO 1183-2 : 2004. The first revision of this Standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 1183-2 : 2019.
