This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 11443 : 2021 ‘Plastics - Determination of the fluidity of plastics using capillary and slit-die rheometers’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Plastics Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
This standard was originally published in 2000. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 11443 : 2021.
