NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 527-3:2018 ‘Plastics - Determination of tensile properties - Part 3: Test conditions for films and sheets’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Plastics Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
The standard was originally published in 1999 and subsequently revised in 2018. The first revision was based on ISO 527-3 : 1995. The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 527-3 : 2018.
