IS 13360 : Part 8 : Sec 6 : Subsec 2 : 2025/ISO 15105-2 : 2003 Plastics - Methods of Testing - Part 8 Permanence/Chemical Properties - Section 6 Film and Sheeting - Determination of Gas-Transmission Rate - Sub-section 2 Equal-Pressure Method
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 8/Sec 6/Subsec 2) (First Revision) which is identical to ISO 15105-2 : 2003 'Plastics - Film and sheeting - Determination of gas-transmission rate - Part 2: Equal-pressure method' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Plastics Sectional Committee and after approval of the Petroleum, Coals and Related Products Division Council.
This standard was first published in 1997. This revision has been brought out to align the standard with the latest version of ISO 15105-1 and ISO 15105-2. As the ISO standard is available in two parts, the Committee decided to bifurcate the standards, as given below:
Subsec 1 Differential-pressure methods
Subsec 2 Equal-pressure method
For details on additional parts, sections, or subsections of this series, refer to IS 13360 (Part 1). The text of ISO standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should be read as 'Indian Standard'; and
b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
