This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 22088-3 : 2006 ‘Plastics —Determination of resistance to environmental stress cracking (ESC) - Part 3: Bent strip method ’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Plastics Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
This standard was originally published in 1997 which was identical to ISO 4599 : 1986. ISO 4599 : 1986 has been revised to ISO 22088-3 : 2006. This revision (first) has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 22088-3 : 2006.
