1. SCOPE
This standard describes a method for the measurement of gloss of plastic films and solid plastics, both opaque and transparent. It contains three separate gloss angles:
a) 60º, recommended for intermediate-gloss films;
b) 20°, recommended for high-gloss films; and
c) 45º, recommended for intermediate and lowgloss films.
