1. SCOPE

This standard (Part 9/Sec 8) prescribes the method for the measurement of the transparency of plastic sheeting in terms of regular transmittance (Tr). Although, applicable to any translucent or transparent material, it is principally intended for use with nominally clear and colourless thin sheeting.
