1 Scope

This standard specifies minimum performance and safetyrequirements of ventilator resuscitator intended for use withindustrial workers. It specifies the performance of gas-poweredventilator resuscitators which are portable and designed for use inemergency situation to provide lung ventilation to individualswhose breathing is inadequate. Resuscitators are designed foradults.
