IS 13410 : 1992 Glass reinforced polyester sheet moulding compounds (SMC)

UDC 678.674.046.364 PCD 12

Reaffirmed 2024

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements for thermosettingpolyester sheet moulding compounds which are classified accordingto their electrical and mechanical properties and which are usedfor processing by compression moulding.

1.2 Compounds whose fibrous reinforcement include glass, otherthan E-glass, are excluded in this standard.
