IS 13442 : 1992 Code of safety for trichloroethylene

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers properties of trichloroethylene, thenature of hazards associated with it and essential information onpersonal protective equipment, storage, handling, labelling,transport, spillage/leakage and waste disposal, fire prevention andfire fighting, training and health monitoring and first aid.

1.2 This code does not, however, deal with specifications fordesign of buildings, chemical engineering plants, storage vessels,equipment for waste disposal and operations control.
