1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers positive list of constituents ofethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers, namely, manufacturingresidues and necessary additives which may be regarded as safe foruse when properly processed in contact with foodstuffs,pharmaceuticals and drinking water and when present only in theprescribed limits of concentration.

1.2 It does not purport to establish the suitability of theingredient singly in a particular foodstuff from other thantoxicological consideration.
