This Indian Standard (Part 4/Sec 1) which is identical with IEC TR 60601-4-1 : 2017 ‘Medical electrical equipment — Part 4-1: Guidance and interpretation — Medical electrical equipment and medical electrical systems employing a degree of autonomy’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Industrial and Production Automation Systems and Robotics Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
