This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 3732 : 2003 `Road vehicles- Connectors for the electrical connection of towing and towed vehicles -7-pole connector type 12 S (supplementary) for vehicles with 12 V nominalsupply voltage' issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on therecommendations of the Automotive Electrical Equipment and InstrumentsSectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering DivisionCouncil.
