This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with IEC 60455-1 : 1998`Resin based reactive compounds used for electrical insulation - Part 1 :Definitions and general requirements' issued by the InternationalElectrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendations of the Solid Electrical InsulatingMaterials and Insulation Systems Sectional Committee and approval of theElectrotechnical Division Council.
