This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 3731 : 2003 'Roadvehicles_ Connectors for the electrical connection of towing and towedvehicles - 7-pole connector type 24 S (supplementary) for vehicles with 24V nominal supply voltage' issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on therecommendations of the Automotive Electrical Equipment and InstrumentsSectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering DivisionCouncil.
