1 Scope

This standard covers the system for marking of diamond/cubicboron nitride abrasive products.

1.1 This standard does not cover the abrasive bonded productsmade of alumina or silicon carbide grains, which are covered in IS551 : 1989 `Marking system for bonded abrasive products (other thandiamond/cubic boron nitride) (second revision).
