IS 1354 : 1992 Methods of test for coke special test

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of test for coke, forthe determination of Shatter index, Micum index, Half-Micum indextrue specific gravity, apparent specific gravity and porosity.

1.2 Should any inconsistency exist between the methods of testgiven in this standard and those if any, given in the materialspecifications for coke, the latter shall prevail.
