1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements and methods ofsampling and test for EMMA copolymers (resins) for the manufactureof plastics items used in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticalsand drinking water.

1.2 This standard does not purport to establish the suitabilityof the packaging media with particular foodstuffs, pharmaceuticalsand drinking water, from other than toxicological considerations.
