1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers positive list of constituents of EMAAresins (Copolymers and terpolymers), the manufacturing residues andnecessary additives which may be regarded as safe for use, whenproperly processed in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals anddrinking water when present only in the prescribed limits ofconcentrations.

1.2 It does not purport to establish the suitability of theingredient singly and in a particular foodstuff from other thantoxicological considerations.
