This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8790 : 1987`Information processing systems - Computer system configurationdiagram symbols and conventions' issued by the internationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the Information Systemsand Software Sectional Committee (LTD 33) and approval of theElectronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
