This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 817 : 1984`Spring-operated impact-test apparatus and its calibration issuedby the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adoptedby the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of theElectrical Appliances Sectional Committee (ETD 32) and approval ofthe Electrotechnical Division Council.
