1 Scope

1.1 This standard applies to analyzers using membrane coveredamperometric sensors for the continuous determination of dissolvedoxygen partial pressure or concentration. It applies to analyzersfor use on potable water, industrial process streams, industrialwaste water, municipal waste water, and receiving bodies of water(for example lakes, rivers and estuaries). Though not specificallyapplying to non-membrane covered electrochemical sensors, thediscussion of analyzers utilizing membrane covered amperometricsensors may be used as a general reference.
