This Indian Standard which ,is identical with ISO/IEC 9072-1 :1989 `Information processing systems - Text communication - Remoteoperations - Part 1 : Model, notation and service definition',issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO),was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendationof the Computer Systems and Interconnection Sectional Committee(LTD 36) and approval of the Electronics and TelecommunicationDivision Council.
