NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1/Sec 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO/IEC 13712-1 : 1995 ‘Information technology remote operations - Concepts model and notation’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Software and System Engineering Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
