This Indian Standard IS 1367 (Part 9/Sec 1) which is identicalwith ISO 6157-1 : 1988, `Fasteners - Surface discontinuities Part 1: Bolts, screws and studs for general requirements issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Bolts,Nuts and Fasteners Accessories sectional Committee (LM14) andapproval of Light Mechanical Engineering Division Council (LMDC).
