NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Third Revision) which is identical with ISO 8676 : 2022 ‘Fasteners - Hexagon head screws, with metric fine pitch thread - Product grades A and B’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the General Engineering and Fasteners Standards Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1993 and subsequently revised in 2002 and 2011. First revision of this standard was based on ISO 8676 : 1988. Second revision of this standard was identical with ISO 8676 : 2011. The third revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version ISO 8676.
