This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 9897 : 1997`Freight containers - Container equipment data exchange (CEDEX) -General communication codes issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of Freight Containers andPallets Sectional Committee and approval of the TransportEngineering Division Council.
