NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO 5675 : 2008 ‘Agricultural tractors and machinery - General purpose quick-action hydraulic couplers’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards after the draft finalized by Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Sectional Committee had been approved by the Food and Agriculture Division Council.

This Indian Standard was first published in the year 1993 and was based on ISO 5675 : 1992. The first revision of the standard was brought in 2021 as an identical adoption of ISO 5675 : 2008. The second revision of the standard has been undertaken to harmonize with the latest version of ISO 5675 published in 2021 and is an identical adoption of the ISO standard under dual numbering.
