This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/IEC 9529-2 :1989 'Information processing systems - Data interchange on 90 mm(3.5 in) flexible disk cartridges using modified frequencymodulation recording at 15916 ftprad, on 80 tracks on each side -Part 2 : Track format' issued by the International Organization forStandardization was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards, onthe recommendation of the Computer Media Sectional Committee (LTD37) and the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
