1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes requirements and methods ofsampling and test of a two-pack unsaturated polyester base orpolyurethane base knifing filler intended to be used for theprotection of steel like exteriors or railway coaches, diesel andelectrical locomotives against atmospheric corrosion. It issuitable for application by knife of about 30 cm width or more.

1.1.1 The material is intended to be used for levelling upeffectively the surface imperfections such as dents and depressionsless than 10 mm on the exteriors of railway coaches. The materialshall have good compatibility with polyurethane primer on which itis to be applied with polyurethane surface which is used as asubsequent coat.
