IS 1379 : 1985 Specification for Ink, Marking, for Non-porous Surfaces (with or without stencil plate)

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements and the methods ofsampling and test for stenciling ink used for marking letters orfigures with or without stencil plate on to a non-porous surface,such as metal, glass, plastics, porcelain or enamel with the helpof a brush or fountain marker.

1.1.1 This standard does not cover inks which are applied byrubber stamps or rollers on non-porous surfaces.
