IS 13930 : 1994 Shipbuilding - Ships' main engine fresh water cooling system - Code of practice

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements for the materials,design, installation, inspection and testing of ship's main enginefresh water cooling piping system including all fittings which formpart of such systems.

1.2 For the purpose of this standard a fresh water coolingpiping system includes all pipes and fittings from engine outlet toengine inlet, excluding the heat exchangers but including all otherfittings, various safety and relief valves and pressure andtemperature gauges.
