1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the general requirements forfasteners and hub caps used in cars, light and heavy passenger andcommercial vehicles.

1.2 This standard precludes the use of such wheel fasteners andhub caps that constitute a hazard to pedestrians, cyclists andother road users.
