IS 14140 : 1994 Shipbuilding - Ships' Main Engine Fuel Oil Piping System - Code of Practice

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements for the materials,design, installation, inspection and `testing of fuel oil pipingsystem of ships' main engine including all fittings which form partof such system.

1.2 For the purpose of this standard, the fuel oil piping systemincludes all pipes and fittings from the oil tanks to pump suctionand the oil return pipes from engines to the tanks and engine inletbut excludes all heat exchangers.
