1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 1) specifies terminology, materials,fastener systems/operating arrangements, designations, texts,dimensions, special treatments/finishes including design, selectionand ordering of products.

1.2 This standard applies to the slide fasteners made frompolyester in ladder formed coil type (L-type) and the performancerequirements/tests laid down in the standard can be met in theladder formed coil type (L-type).
