SCOPE

This standard provides a method for the estimation of uranium isotopes in geological and biological samples like soil, sediment, rock, vegetation, food and biota by gamma spectrometry. This standard does not deal with the uranium measurement in water sample, which is covered in IS 14194 (Part 3/Sec 1).
