This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC Pub 45-1 :1991, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on therecommendation of the Rotating Machinery Sectional Committee (ET15) and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
